YWAM MEXICO

Living Word supports YWAM, through their Homes of Hope ministry (ywamhomesofhope.org). Each year we partner with them by sending a team to Ensenada, Mexico to build a home for a family in need.

COMPASSION FIRST

Compassion First is a non-profit organization that works to “provide long-term, hope-filled solutions for survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation.” In Indonesia, they provide an aftercare shelter for girls who have been trafficked and assist with the training of local police. They also work with “at-risk” youth and their families through a sponsorship program, to empower families and prevent exploitation. (compassionfirst.org)

PIONEER BIBLE TRANSLATORS

This organization mobilizes people to provide access to God’s Word (pioneerbible.org). Many people have no written materials in their language—meaning they have no access to the Bible. The Welch Family, who formerly attended Living Word, is working with a remote people group to create a Bible translation that they can read and understand.

CHURCH PLANTING

Living Word believes in sending people out to continue the mission of Jesus to “go and make disciples.” Over the years we have supported numerous leaders and church plants, including many sent by Living Word.

This spring we are returning to Ensenada, Mexico with WYWAM Homes of Hope to build a home for a family in need.
